Born in Rome in 2004, Deva Cassel grew up between France, Italy, and Brazil. A polyglot, she speaks no less than five languages and developed very early a great sensitivity for the arts, inherited from her parents Monica Bellucci and Vincent Cassel. She is passionate about singing, and painting, and took theater lessons from a very young age. Her natural artistic streak also pushes her to be interested in the world of images, which she discovers and explores through the prism of fashion.
As fashion is practically in her blood (mom Bellucci has been a Dolce & Gabbana face for decades) From Cassel’s early debut with Dolce & Gabbana at age 14, to her recent appearances on prestigious runways and in high-profile campaigns, Cassel’s striking beauty and talent have garnered widespread buzz and a model to watch. With her signature dark curls and ’90s fresh-faced makeup, she embodies the essence of her Italian heritage. She graced Italian Vogue in 2021, sat front row at Dior, and most recently, walked the runway for brands like Coperni and Jacquemus.

Speaking to WWD last week, she remembered: “The first thing that comes to mind is a picture of a vintage Dior photo that particularly triggered my imagination when I was younger, which depicts a female silhouette with a large hat — elegance and mystery in a single image.” How very Dior.
