Haider Ackermann officially debuted his Fall 2025 collection for Tom Ford at Paris Fashion Week, signaling a new era for the brand. While the runway show was his first full collection, Ackermann has already been making waves—dressing Timothée Chalamet in custom looks throughout the 2025 awards season.

A New Direction for Tom Ford

Ackermann, who took over as creative director in September 2024, has made it clear he isn’t simply continuing Tom Ford’s signature provocative aesthetic. “If people are expecting hot sex, no, you will not see it from me,” he told The New York Times. Instead, he’s bringing a sleek, confident, and refined approach to the label.

The Collection: Morning-After Chic

Ackermann opened his collection with leather-forward, structured yet relaxed pieces:

Slim-fit moto jackets styled with leather T-shirts and trousers

Embossed white cropped tees paired with black pants

Longline jackets worn with gloves over minimalist ensembles

A standout collarless coat, belted for a bold yet understated effect

Ackermann’s tailored elegance and pared-down sensuality offer a fresh interpretation of Tom Ford. He summed it up best in his show notes:
“He is nightlife, I am the morning after: this is where our dance begins.
