Parker Posey is having a standout year, stealing scenes in The White Lotus Season 3 while also embracing her playful side in Gap’s spring campaign. Whether she’s wrapped up in the luxurious textiles of Thailand or dancing in denim, the indie icon remains effortlessly captivating.
Posey’s The White Lotus Adventure in Thailand
Joining the acclaimed HBO series, Posey plays Victoria Ratliff, a wealthy North Carolina mother navigating a chaotic family vacation. Filming in Thailand left a lasting impression on the actress, who eagerly shares a Jim Thompson silk scarf she picked up on set.
“I really love the prints and textiles in Thailand and Asia. It was so beautiful,” Posey says, revealing that her character similarly indulges in gift shop fashion therapy, a moment of escapism amidst the unfolding drama.
Dancing Into Gap’s Spring Campaign
In contrast to Victoria’s tension-filled vacation, Posey radiates pure joy in Gap’s new spring campaign, where she dances freely to METTE’s “Mama’s Eyes.” Directed by Talia Collis and choreographed by Sadie Wilking, the ad features Posey in classic Gap staples—trench coats, carpenter jeans, ribbed shirts, and layered tanks.
Excited about the project, Posey recalls:
“I love to dance. This is going to be really fun. There were all these dancers who could be my children,” she jokes. “It felt like meeting my young self. The ’90s vibe was back—just dancing, feeling strong, and having fun.”
From the sun-soaked sets of The White Lotus to the lively energy of Gap’s latest campaign, Parker Posey proves once again why she’s so fun to watch.
